About Christine

I’m an artist based in the mountains of NC, but love to travel and recently spent 3 years roaming the US in a converted bus with my partner and cat. I grew up in Mississippi, immersed in art thanks to my talented artist mother who also taught me to draw and paint when I was little. I went to art school in Savannah GA (Savannah College of Art and Design) many moons ago, and have been painting more or less ever since, along with many other hobbies, jobs, and outdoor activities.
I love nature, critters, and adventure. Landscapes are my main focus, and I dabble in most mediums- lately it’s been more watercolor and ink. I like to create a mood in a painting, and sometimes that is based on the subject matter, and sometimes it’s just about the light or the clouds. Usually a lot of vibrant color is involved.
