Christine Enochs is an artist working in Asheville, NC. She paints landscapes in oils and pastels, working in the studio or on location, "en plein air". Her style can be described as loose realism, as she is focused not only on accurate representation with painterly flair, but with vibrant color interpretation as well.
After acquiring a B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design, she was drawn to the mountains of western North Carolina. Having lived in the area now for many years, she is
very involved in the outdoors, enjoying whitewater kayaking, hiking, and camping.
These activities have given her an acute appreciation of the beauty of the area,
which she attempts to capture and share in her art.
